FAQ

Q: What is a “flash design”? What is a “custom design”?
A: "Flash" are designs that I have pre-drawn and are ready to be tattooed. I want to tattoo these designs the most and they always get my first priority. I repeat flash designs until I am tired of doing them and may choose to change them up a bit to keep things interesting (with your consent, of course). You can find all of my flash designs here on my website and on my Instagram page!
A: “Customs” are tattoo designs that I create from your unique idea. Please take into account my personal style when planning custom design with me. On my booking form, it is best to go into great detail about what you are wanting to get. The more info (and reference photos) you give me, the easier it is for me to give you exactly what you are looking for! I will NEVER do another artists design without their permission. I also won’t begin drawing your design until a deposit is put down. I will create a few different versions that you can choose from and customize upon arrival to your appointment.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: My minimum is $250 for flash designs and $350 for custom designs. The price changes depending on design size, detail, and placement. If you want to know the price in advance, I can give you a range but won’t have a final price until the tattoo is complete. Touchups are free!

On average, my flash design appointments range from $300-$500 and custom design appointments range from $400-$600.

Please consider this pricing when you are booking! Tattoos are forever art on your skin. They aren’t cheap and they are worth saving up for.
Q: What is your deposit/cancellation policy?
A: I require a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of the tattoo.

If you need to reschedule, please give me a minimum of a week's notice. If you want to reschedule within a week of your original appointment, you will be required to put down a new deposit.

If you give me more than a week's notice, your deposit will roll over to the new appointment date. If you need to reschedule more than once, you will be required to put down a new deposit each time.

The deposit is in place to protect me from last-minute cancellations and no-shows. I rely completely on these appointments to support myself. Please don’t book an appointment if there is a possibility you won’t be able to make it.

If you test positive for covid within a week of the appointment or have an emergency, please email me to discuss our options.
Q: Do you still do hand-poked tattoos?
A: No. I have transitioned over to doing machine-made tattoos only! It better suits my style of work and it allows me to create higher quality tattoos.
Q: How do I book?
A: My books open every 2 months. Leading up, I will announce the exact date and time on my Instagram. I will also send an announcement and an early sneak peek of the new flash to my mailing list (you can join here ).

To inquire, please fill out the form on my website at the time my books open! I book in order of my preference in the order in which I receive the inquiries. The earlier you fill out the form, the more likely it is you will get a spot. But please take your time filling out the inquiry! I usually only keep my books open for 24 hours.

Flash designs always get booking priority, but I also take a limited amount of customs. Flash designs are repeated until I choose to discontinue them.

I will respond to the chosen inquiries via email. It takes me 1-2 weeks to finish sorting and booking. Your patience is appreciated!

If you don't receive an email response, you didn't get a spot this time around. Most declined requests are simply because I ran out of space in my schedule. It is also possible that our schedules aren't compatible, the flash you want has been discontinued, or your custom idea doesn't align with what I want to do. Regardless, I am sorry I can't get you in and I encourage you to try again next round!

If you do receive an email, it will contain a link to my booking calendar. Here you can choose a date/timeslot and put down a deposit. Once I accept the date, we are all set! More info on the shop location and appointment preparations will be emailed to you a few days before the appointment. I can't wait to tattoo you!
Q: How should I prepare for my appointment?
A: You must be 18+ to get tattoos, so bring your ID. I have to scan it upon arrival and won’t be able to tattoo you if you don’t have it. Make sure to eat and drink plenty of water before your appointment. I always suggest bringing some water or even a snack if you know you will be at the shop for a long session. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area that will be tattooed. It is preferred that you come alone, but if you need to, please only bring 1 friend. We have limited space, and anyone extra will be asked to leave. Tips, gifts, treats, and kind words are always appreciated.
Q: Can I sign up to be notified when your booking is available?
A: You can subscribe to my mailing list here
